I dont see what was bad about your Lord Ryur purchase $200 is still cheap

And Don't believe the 1000 copy store..

I purchased Joe Step for $750

Like DoomP said verything turns.
Records are like stock, You need to know when to buy and when to sell

Ebay was a game changer for most prices but I think things have steadied and are on a new course now.

First one that comes to my mind is China White - Heavy Metal Thunder. I got it on eBay with a $50 BIN, thinking I had found a good deal. Found out immediately after that a whole bunch of copies had been discovered and it was worth less than half that. Found out even later when it came in the mail that it was a piece of crap.

1.I paid 10€ for the 2nd Godzilla LP. I was traumatized for days.

2. While being hammered I bought the Arizona Slayer LP in pretty bad shape. Paid alot for it but only one 1 track was worth listening. Sold it for 1/10 of the original price.

3. 100 Euro for 2nd TOM LP plus I got raped by the german customs office. After that ca 20 copies were sold for much less. Bad luck: my copy had a pressing fault (I think) on one song, I was then lucky to sell it for 70.

3 or 4 more come to mind, though not that idiotic.

Dark Ages "Medieval sorcery" 99 $ - I was crying when I heard that crap record the very first time.
Vaughn - Holy Metal 12" - same as above, though 1 track is listenable

At least other guys paid much more for that crap so they must feel even more screwed.
