Killen - S/T LP
Trouble - Warrior LP

Gotta listen to this Killen LP since they are playing at HOA next year.
Trouble... I don´t know why I got this. Never really liked it.
My steel isn´t true and that makes me a sad panda...

I think both these records aren't in the price category for "fun purchases", are they?
Especially Killen spreads a quite amateurish flair that most people I know do not tolerate at all at a 100 E+ record.
The vox for sure sound like a bad joke.

Sorry, but Defiant and Ray Gunn are great US Metal records. And none of the rest has such a bad boy-vocalist as Killen had ...

Charley Browne-Power Palace LP, might be under consideration for a trade though after I listen to it carefully.

Oh yeah, this one sucks pretty much. Even myself, who collects aussie Metal and Hard Rock vinyls, has to think twice if he should buy this strange album for 100 $. I wonder that DaN "the Schäbi Metal Guru himself" hasn't discovered that "special record" yet. Haha, it would fantastically fit his usual low quality standards (Wheelz of Steel, Kuster, The Plads, Dwarr). Try it DaN, try!

I remember seeing that for 5 bucks in a 2nd hand store 10 years ago. I didn't know who they were, so I didn't get it. A week later I went back to get it and it was gone and the owner of the store said it was his mates band back in the day.

Music wise it's not so tough and a bit ordinary... Anyhow... I stumbled across this Charley Browne band documentary recently... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q-FNZoeiug

Here's a track too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ7rEPV8fsA Kind of OK... this one. Vocals ruin it.

Yes, as I said Charley Browne surely isn't everyone's cup of beer, especially as you prohably have higher expectations when earlier (in pre-internet age) 10 collectors were searching for it and willing to throw alot out alot of money. Nowadays when you can just click and hear most of these records you quickly will figure out it's nothing that you badly need. Strange music. For some reason I always remember Trilogy/Saracen when I hear the name Charley Browne. Their vocals ruined their records a bit too. Musically pretty much ok, but as far as the vocals do start there's a big questionmark opening in my head.

The cover artwork of their LP looks even worse.
