I already mentioned that the line is not the most important difference.glockose wrote:Well I would really like to get to the bottom of this.
With a real answer.
There are defiantly 2 diff. labels in your pics But the rest I don't know.
Like I said I have PS#1 and PS#2 both the Disc #2
Nightblood was here yesterday and can defiantly confirm that much
For them to be the same Matrix is a little hard.
As plates for the most part are not made for reusing, They can be but you have to know this the first time and pay (A Lot) more for a steel plate instead of Aluminum which is done 90% of the time. I would not have thought someone doing a private 45 would have paid for a steel plate.
But they could have with no problem.
Jim & I got 8-10 copies in the early 90's from there maniger, all with press folders and Pic's. I don't have these any more but would like to know what that looked like.
Anyone with any more info please let us know
PS: The Pic at the Rockadrom site (Who has known the band since day one and released the CD) has the Line (No pic of the label) I sent him an email
Different labels is. And i remember that it was repressed but don't remember the year. Since you got your copies from the manager, the repress is most likely a legit one. But it is still a repress that happened some years later.
I never noticed that review, thanx for mentioning it. Although i am not certain that the date of the second pressing is accurate.Nasty Uwe wrote:According to Metalpage.de the second pressing of the single was released in 1986.

I think now knowing the band did a second press goes a long way towards explaining why this record isn't really rare compared to so many old private 7", most of which had tiny pressings and no distribution.

It means it was put in one of those cd cleaning/resurfacing machines that leaves tons of small consistent light marks that are hard to see unless put under a bright light but all over the entire disc bottom. Doesn't affect the play of the cd though. I still hate that it leaves all those marks on it however.Helstar wrote:Devastation- Idolatry Combat recs $5 (resurfaced but ok)
