I've got Skyrim as well. It's 7.30 A.M. here and have been playing it since 12.00 A.M. or so. I'm pretty sure my eyes will bleed within a few days.

Ah, Metal Duck is terrible.

I don't know why people pay money for that crap.

Cool. I HATE pre-orders, but I didn't want to let this slip through my fingers. Do labels to pre-orders to create a sense of urgency/panic? I think it's dumb to offer them so early that the pressing can sell out before it's even released. :?

i couldnt resist with timeghoul even if i own the tumultuous travelings demo...it's sad they never went to record a studio album. i doubt the comp will sell out before release unless they made a very small pressing (very unlikely)

yeah i never understood that preorder thing other than to raise funds to actually finance the release or to create a big hurry fuzz about it...that "this release won't be available for too long, better hurry up"..."this is a one-time pressing, don't be a flake"...mostly it's a marketing thing, sometimes spiced up with some extra pre order only gimmicks
i dont like to pay for a release that doesnt exist yet either and i rarely preorder but i think these labels are reliable enough to make that happen without much problems...but if something goes wrong, it will turn into a great shitfest with lots of nagging emails and posts and refunds etc etc

-personally id never do preorder if i had a label, just too big of a hassle for everyone...

I preordered Timeghoul and Horrendous too, sometimes label do pre-orders to fund production costs, or maybe he wanna come up with a decision on how many copies to make ...

Timeghoul will be a digi though, i would be suprised if its gonna be ready on schedule ... :(
