I guess my Baseline 7'' would fit in here too, and some more stuff I don't remember having ...

Going 50/50 on rareness/worshipability I would mention THE HAND OF DOOM - "Poisonoise", COVEN - "Worship New Gods", BERSERKS - s/t, DWARR - both LPs, OVERLORD(can) - s/t, REINCARNATE 7", OMEN SEARCHER 7", Y DIAWLED "Noson Y Blaidd" 7"... All godly releases I'm very happy to have laid my hands on through the years. (could add many more)

Stuff like TROP FEROSS - "Resürrection" or DARK AGES - "Saturnalia" look really sexy in the crates too, even if they're no top-100 faves. Just the fact that 10 years ago I would hardly have dreamt to one day own them + they fit well into my collection of original & obscure stuff is enough.

What is that Nosferatu by TF? 7'', LP?

As someone mentioned before, we'd like pictures! :) (of particular pieces or entire collections!)

D'oh! I meant of course "Resürrection"

I'll make some pix when I get hold of a proper camera. Stay tuned.

Definite top item of the collection emotionally (and probably also monetary though I've never seen one for sale) is the Live wacko boxset from Sabbat. Got many other nice Sabbat stuff like the Japanese harmageddon LP, Bloody countess LP, African harmageddon 7", I'm very fond of my Sabbat collection in general. Other things I like very much are Live after death vinyl from Iron maiden which has a lot of personal value, all my Belgian metal vinyls, total classics like Show no mercy LP, hyperrare records like Worship/Agathocles 7" that I've searched for years and years and that I finally got for peanuts,...

Pure monetary value also records like Mercyful fate - Die schwarze maske mit gefolge, Enslaved - Hordanes land and a lot of post-2000 black metal records that no one here will care for. I don't care that much about them either. All in all, I'm satisfied with my collection as I only started to buy vinyl 5 years ago.

Don't own a classic super-rarity, but one thing that brings me lots of memories and can be considered rare somehow is the first personal album of Dan Rock of the godly PSYCHOTIC WALTZ (i own the picture LP edition). It was released under the name DARK STAR, i had ordered it directly from Dan himself and it is also autographed by him. Don't give a damn about how much it's really worth because i will never ever give it away.

I also have a very strange and uncommon EP by a band called SEA MONSTER. Hardly you call it metal, it's rather a weird mixture of hard rock/metal/funk/alternative/jazz with a diy kind of artwork. Never seen it on sale and i don't have the slightest clue about it's value. Could trade it for a PARADOXX and a MEZMERIST copy though.

 Never saw that one, didn't even know it existed! So many other records on your picture I've never heard, argh!

Lazy afternoon so I decided to take some pictures.

First one: a peek into my precious Sabbat collection
Image

Second one: a few singles. I hardly ever play singles so I don't own that many either
Image

Third one: some of my all-time favourite records and some rare ones
Image

Fourth one: a peek into the world of Belgian steel. That Sixty-nine record still has the original 19 year old black condom by the way!

would you guys ever sell your collection? i admit i havent touch ONE vinyl in a year or so, i play my mp3s.but i would start cying at the thought of selling even my black dragon/metal blade stuff, let alone any of my rarities/private pressings.it would kill me..but for no real reason?? strange stuff..this is what a 'collector' really is i guess.
nice list Roman,i never made it to the 'second level' of collecting as i call it,the street child/slauter xstoryes leather nunn level..simply cos i didnt have the money to and with ebay its almost impossible to find bargains anymore, you google a record you know what it's worth
you thrasher guys,i also give you respect \m/ anyone that collects old, sacred vinyl is GOD these fucking mp3 days.i think i will recommence collecting,i am inspired.

Great list, but when i see such lists a bitter feeling always fills me. I must work for about 5 years without spending a single penny for anything else but metal in order to obtain at least some of them. With today's prices of course. I should have started collecting at the age of five i guess.
