Got it for trade: the ordinary one (with or without autographs) and the budget one (same songs, cheaper sleeve)

Thought I recognized this jolly looking chap! :D

Impressive track list (the original/intended one) too bad it couldn't be realized. But, well, the result was more than satisfying anyway. Also the atmosphere of the gig seemed really friendly and both the sound and the playing really good (judging from the dvd, that is...). I really hope to get to see them live some time!

Today I got these in a record shop. Actually they are new but old at the same time, since they were stored in this shop from the beginning (when they were released). The booklets show some little wear, since they were stored away from the cd's in small plastic sleeves. The cd's itself are MINT unplayed.

Overkill - Feel The Fire CD (Atlantic) paid 12 Euros
I have another pressing with the same catalogue number but it reads Atlantic/ Megaforce.

Accu§er - Double Talk CD (Atom H) paid 12 Euros
Original 1st pressing, no reissue

Living Death - Worlds Neuroses CD (AAARRG Records) paid 12 Euros
Original 1st pressing, no reissue)

Joal - Joal CD (WEA) paid 5 Euros
Don't know much about it but prices are high on Ebay...

Sodom - Mortal Way Of Live paid 12 Euros
1st pressing without the black "censored" sheet but probably quite average I guess...

Ebay says that some seem to have some more value than I actually have paid. So probably an all in all good buy!?

I also have JOAL on CD. No metal though, but nice female fronted melodic rock, very much like LAOS or WITNESS.
Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst

I got them as a vinyl replacement, so no doubles. There are still some nice finds, maybe I'll go there again to get some more stuff. Unfortunately the shop only has copy of each left, otherwise I would have been able to buy some more to put them on Ebay or something... .

He still has a copy of "Omen - Escape To Nowhere", well, the album might be rare but compared to the other Omen stuff it can't compete at all.

Accu$er - Repent was one I had in my hands but I am not sure if it's woth it. The ebay prices are high for this, too but I would buy it for myself. I remember I had this once but sold it when I tried to lower my collection. It never worked, since I couldn't really stop it.

Sacred Reich - Independent CD
just saw that Displeased are going to reissue it soon... . Hopefully they'll do a good job with it. Not all their reissues are good.

X-Wild - Savageland CD
X-Wild - Monster Effect CD
I only know that some former Running Wild members were in this band and that they shall sound like Running Wild but that's all. For 8 Euros each a good buy? I don't know, maybe I'll check these.

He (the owner) also has some rare non metal stuff there. Imagine, this guy owns this shop since the 80's but his sales aren't quite big, so a lot of stuff which is already reissued is still there in the shelves in it's original form.

Stuff I found there earlier:

Blind Illusion - The Sane Asylum CD - Under One Flag - no Bootleg
Living Death - Killing In Action CD - 1st Press (I guess it was never reissued)
Living Death - Protected From Reality CD 1st Press Aaarrgh
Witness - Witness CD (I found another copy in a second hand shop in Cologne, sold one at Ebay for good money but this one got reissued meanwhile).

Until 2003 I was lucky to find some good shops here in Italy, but after all these years they have closed :| some phone numbers don't work at all anymore lol

Anyway that Accuser cd is common I think, it's like 10 euro ^^ (and musically not good like the previous ones)

It's really a pity that all the small shops are closing down and the chains get bigger and bigger. But if you take a look at these chains (Saturn, Mediamarkt etc.) they usually only carry the top 50 to top 100 chartstuff and a very small Metal related part. An exception still is the main Saturn in Cologne, which usually has all the new stuff (Metal and Non-Metal) but if you get more specific, you find out that they don't really care and don't know very much about the stuff they sell.

ELPI & all the others are long gone. WOM sucks and all in all there's not much left. It's good to have the Internet and to be able to get almost everything if you want and are able to pay for it.
