The U.S. economy is going to shit. The racial tensions are insanely high, and only going up. The job market is fuckin' chaos with no reasonable job gains in sight. The dollar is falling, and has NO stable ground to rise from. The average American is loud and opinionated, and thinks that makes them "informed"....about politics, religion, society, the world, and life in general. Most of the younger generation thinks that life "owes" them something. The government is self-serving and hopelessly corrupt (regardless of party).

I thought that you originally had just gone there for vacation.

I guess it all makes sense now why you had to sell off your collection.
