Probably because it beats out looking like a stereotypical headbanger in a modern society that has to settle for 3rd rate, fat, ugly chicks...

I'm not sure, he's probably in his late 30's/early 40's meaning that he grew up during the 80's. So he's more suited to be stuck in his ways as he's actually lived through the glory days and we haven't.

I'm not the biggest fan of what Gellert does, but he's not the only one that buys and re-sells for a higher price. Other users like "wikking", etc do that as well.
