The GALLOW'S POLE album was a slight disappointment. I liked the debut better to be honest. I might review it just to set the record straight about the supposed DEATH SS/DEEP SWITCH-comparisons I've read. More like U2/THE CURE imo
On a 1-10 scale, how rare would you say NYTEMARE is? Been thinking about reviewing that one too.

The rerelease in CD includes some tracks from the first album(mediocre in my opinion). But for We Wanna Come Home it is not a top record like UNICORN'S OR NYTEMARE'S but still it worths.Highlight of GALLOWS POLE are the pounding drums(very excellent production),the sad/doomy vocals.I estimate NYTEMARE as for rarity goes about 8/10 does the backcover have a picture of band too?DaN wrote:The GALLOW'S POLE album was a slight disappointment. GOTHAM CITY: Black Writs MLP = 40 euro
PROUD EXCISTANCE: The Trial MLP = 40 euro
TREASURE: Woman In Black 7" = 50 euro
SARCOFAGUS: Envoy Of Death LP = 70 euro
SU TA GAR: Munstro Hilak LP = 20 euro
A lot of money but worth every penny, especially the Sarcofagus LP, never saw it anywhere. I always had to listen to a crap cdr of this beauty, but now I can get it straight from the vinyl. Is this LP rarer than "Cycle Of Life"? I've seen the latter offered several times in Holland and Germany over the years.

I have been in contact with the band. The band didn't remember how many exactly have been pressed (think 1.000 copies), but more than 500 copies have been destroyed right after the record was finished, as their exercise-room burned down in '86!DaN wrote:On a 1-10 scale, how rare would you say NYTEMARE is? This does not help all too much as long as we dont know the exact number of copies pressed, but the band itself does not have any copies left, and the LP turns up rarely (even in germany), but the price is still "affordable".
I'd say around 6 or 7/10.

Nah mate. I just check out the used stores around town, keep tabs on things, buy stuff when its at a reasonable price. Those marketed "rare" tubs at that store are full of overpriced thrash sometimes! Though I've got some good stuff from that store... Axe Witch, Atlain and Dammaj etc memories!Korgüll wrote:
