I think the focus here is too much on overpriced albums. What about all the bargains that can be had on eBay? Like this one I just got:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWNX:IT

Maybe not "insane" but still a damn good deal (and I'm sure glad I lost that one I bid $80 on recently!)

EDIT: Here's another sweet eBay deal I got a little while ago:

I'm dreadfully jealous ...
But congrats for getting this gem for such a price. Strange I didn't notice it was on ebay because I often check (almost 1 time per week) if there is one or not.

Do what I do. I have almost 200 saved searches on eBay so I get emails when something good turns up.

Nice grab.

I still prefer the Out Of Tune original pressing though.

That's another thing. But the OOT pressing would, I guess, be closer to 30 - 40 GBP though :)

There was a copy on eBay a while back with a "Buy It Now" for $70.00 USD.

Still, it's only 0.99 cents........ What the hell?

Well I prefer the Crash pressing. The artwork is so much more METAL 8)

Sold my Out Of Tune CD for $89 a little over a year ago. I only paid $10 for it in '04

Wasn't that vinyl only?

I can't come to terms with that artwork because all the bootleg CD's have it...
