Another mix, this more metallic tinged, limited to the period of 1980-1983, all from the U.S. A couple of tracks the date is unknown so who knows? I've also included an obscurity the copy I have is wasted so I won't share the name unless I find a better copy, eventually. Worth a listen anyway.
1. Scarum "Night Rider" 1981
2. Powerage "Don't Go To Pieces" 1983
3. Rizzo "Get off My Back" 198x
4. Frisky Archer "Patterns of the Nighttime" 1980
5. Invasion "R.I.P." 198x
6. Euphoria "Sword By My Side" 1980
7. Zelvian "Ruler of the Night" 1983 American Underground comp.
8. Unknown Band - Unknown Track 1980
9. Future South "Lady in White" 198x
10. Satyre "Take It All Away" 1982 KZOM Shootin' For the Stars
11. Chalice "Shoot For The Stars" 1981
12. Renegade "Don't Stop Let's Rock" 198x
13. Wicked Step "Jimi Hendrix" 1980

I made a mix of obscure 7" single tracks (and one comp) I've been working on for awhile. This is the 70's rock one (going to do an early metal mix later). I've you feel like spending 50 minutes listening to some interesting tracks all ripped from analogue sources from my collection, give it a listen.
1. Zoot "Rock the Galaxy" 1980 U.S.
2. Manhole "Sassy Woman" 1978 U.S.
3. Juzt Nutz "Rats" 198x U.S.
4 Triad "Feel Good Song" 1976 U.S.
5. Southpaw "Cold Hearted" 198x U.S.
6. Stormrider "Mr. Supercool" 1977 UK
7. Fast Eddie "Time To Get Loose" Arizona Sounds Vol3 comp. 1979
8. Limousine "You've Got The Power" 197x U.S.
9. Smooth "Satan's Party" 197x Belgium
10. Tahanako "Nite Thunder" 1976 U.S.
11. Genocide "Let's Go Tonight's the Night" 1978 U.S.
12. The Maxx Band "Whiplash" 1977 U.S.
13. Basstar Amber "Black Clouds" 1979 U.S.
14. Troupe "Midnight Flight"1979 U.S.

Another Hard rocking mix with some prog and some other guitar driven madness as usual. Jackknife is the only track not from an analog source, this one dug out (and well hidden) from the Massacre Mafia Style dvd bonus material).

4. Sabotage "Gentle Minds" 198x Ohio USA
5. Flasher "Wheel of Fortune" KZEL 96 Oregons Best Rock 1985
6. Starchild "Detroit Rocker" 1981 Canada
7. Big Boy "Big Boy" 1982 USA
8. Movin' On "Truckin'" 1978 from Hometown comp, Oregon

Thanks brother, I was waiting for you to chime in. Also a pure 70's psych type mix up there too, I did not post that tracklist here. I'm guessing you are familiar with some, if not all, of those songs.

Very much liked what i've heard of these mixes so far, thanks again for sharing them. Most songs have been new to me despite my own extensive excavations in this area. I never much liked that sub-Quo Mothers Of Track song, but you're forgiven as everything else has been uniformly enjoyable. I'll check out the psych mix when time allows too, thanks for pointing it out.

The world of music is large, no doubt about it. the deeper we drill down the deeper the well gets.

Yeah the Mothers of Track just was on my local drive already and I threw it on there as I was burned out on digging around for another song to select. I've shared the mix to a variety of people and what I really find interesting is everyone has a highlight, yet it seems to be a different song off each mix. Love that, it says a lot about how we each hear and enjoy things differently.

How right you are, and it's encouraging to know that the well shows little sign of running dry.
I've now given all 3 mixes multiple plays & the standout tracks have changed from play to play which is an encouraging sign for longterm enjoyment. If i was picking a favourite, 'Cut By The Kid' by Damnage is the standout so far, equal parts Detroit '70 muscle & Noo Yawk '76 attitude with some fantastically sleazy slide geetar. Doesn't seem like i'll be burning out on these any time soon.

Dammit! Better later than never, I finally listened to the « Sword by my side » mix, and I’m truly amazed, many 1st class great songs, with a strong replay factor for my tastes. Thanx for sharing, I’ll take time to listen the other mixes. As I’m trying to spend more time offline, I’d also love to download those songs instead of streaming them…
this Invasion song is a complete jewel, damn!!!

Ok, by popular? request, here are some downloads of these 4 mixes, including the 70's stuff.
They are still mixes and are not broken out into individual tracks, just one file.
