Can't help but agree. The "logo" and pyramid turned out quite awful - should have stylized more...

Now as you say it, I can see a pyramid too with lots of good will. What's more confusing was those pinkish spots at the bottom  ...

So next will be an Iron Maiden cover then. 8)

I'd like to point out how this is a rendition of the original private pressing and not the repress...

..and please remind me to never do another runny watercolor-cover ever again. This was supposed to have been the "easy one" but noooo...

DaN, never do another runny watercolor-cover ever again!

Btw, the Iron Cross one looks remarkable.

The hexagon plate made all the difference.

Awesome! I'm picturing all of these getting used as drinks coasters in your 'man cave'. :D

Cheers guys :)

I haven't really found a proper use for them, other than nailing them up on the side of one of the record shelves...

The Voivod one I finished a while back - this one was finished yesterday:

The skull-pile was next to impossible to recreate so it's a bit of a mess in the middle. I'm totally pleased w/ the result when I squint my eyes though..

I didn't even know what "perler" was before this thread, but I love this kinda thing. I hope more people eventually join in.

Sorry about this DaN, it turns out your perler game needs to be raised considerably. Trust a Rush fan to take it way too far  :

Seems someone has been doing something similar with lego with pretty impressive results:

There's an interview with the guy & more examples of his work at this interesting site: https://albumcoverhalloffame.wordpress. ... t-project/

I also went back & read through the oldeDuplo-Metal thread from a few years back earlier. Some great pix & comments there that had me laughing out loud: https://thecorroseum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8369

You can literally do anything with LEGO. Just came back from my vacation to LEGO House in Billund, Denmark - and they had an entire exhibition with album covers made in LEGO. Mostly Beatles, Rolling Stones etc, but all very authentic looking.
