Another youtube clip says Z-Rose was purely a cover band, so perhaps Mr. Cavazos recorded this song as part of another group?

I know it's not, but sounds very similar to pre LP Overkill (Staten Island) or even Steel Assassin.

The pre-Overkill thing was the first thing that came to my mind because the voice is a lot like Bobby Blitz's! However the song, as they say was released around 1987 and by that time Overkill was well into their second album... maybe a side band?

It doesn't sound like Overkill, but the voice sounds a lot like Blitz's especially at the bridge before the chorus.

On the old days, Maleqys, we use to have several games on other Forum
1game just with a little part of a cover shown - to guess what it was by other members
and other game with a obscure track - to be guessed by other members

This sounds bad bad... the OP song instead is a masterpiece ! I hope we find who they are and their other songs, there can't be just this one... it would be an injustice
