Another youtube clip says Z-Rose was purely a cover band, so perhaps Mr. Cavazos recorded this song as part of another group?

The pre-Overkill thing was the first thing that came to my mind because the voice is a lot like Bobby Blitz's! However the song, as they say was released around 1987 and by that time Overkill was well into their second album... maybe a side band?

Yeah, very similar to Burnt Offering (Especially around their second album), maybe a rehearsal demo of theirs?
