Other then the group sung chorus, the vocals are similar to JD Kimball's low range. The Sentinel wrote:Great music but the vocals are terrible.
Don't really see the issue?

Re: Metal Merchant
Yeah, as far as vocals on cult releases like this go I find them quite good actually.

Reminds me a lot of a number of bands of the genre, Liege Lord comes to mind

I love this song, it sounds really powerful. And I don't mind these vocals at all.

Average music, vocals quite bad for US standards.

Re: Metal Merchant
It's not that bad as you make it sound, chorus is kind of meh but musically powerful

If this record costed 10$ , this topic would hardly had any replies.
PS. Changed my mind after a couple of listens. The song is good, apart from the chorus. I leave the original post as a monument of a hasty judgement.

Re: Metal Merchant
The guitars do sound pretty rough, the refrain isn't the best but the track sounds quite good. Unfortunately it's just ONE track.
If the record turns out to be a second MC Blade then the buyer will have alot of fun with his $ 2000 purchase.

He's a bit flat, but I like how burly he sounds.Herkus Monte wrote:I don't mind these vocals at all.

Re: Metal Merchant
Solid tune, nothing really special about it. It falls in the same category as EMERALD (NJ) - overpriced collectors bands with not much musical substance (compared to the collector's cost).
I give them some props for the cowbell though . I'd certainly not pay $2000 for it, not even a fraction of that to be honest, but if it is re-released properly on cd I'd pay $10-12 for it.
