Probably not anyone's favourite Voivod album, nor is it mine, but a very consistent collection and it's passed the test of time surprisingly well, sounding far better to me now than it did when it was initially released. 'Facing Up' would likely even make my personal Voivod top 10 songs now.
Sorry/not sorry for the handdrawn 'art', i've been doing a lot of doodling to pass the time during the corona-lockdown & finding it rather soothing & helpful. I'd recommend i as both a timekiller & stress buster.

Hey, Kit! Is that pencil you're using? Or crayons? Looks pretty good for chasing boredom.
The eponymous Voivod album is also on my "try again" list, but not sure where exactly.

Kinda like a mix of early CATHEDRAL, EYEHATEGOD, VOIVOD and Family Man era BLACK FLAG. I guess, they will crawl upon Relapse one day.

Considering when it was recorded, this has really cool stuff on it. Might be a bit too lightweight (by today's standards) for some here, but i really enjoy the interplay between the guitar players in particular. Just a pity i got the Monster Records issue with the incredibly naff front cover artwork, I should have waited for the reissue on Vintage/Rockadrome which is far better looking.
