their early material I have heard really hits the spot, I only have this compilation.bigfootkit wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 12:25 am NINGEN ISU - Utsushiyo Wa Yume - 25th Anniversary Best Album
How did these guys slip beneath my radar for 3 decades? Some astonishing stuff on this.

Yeah, i found the prices for their stuff off-putting too & it's prevented me from investigating much further than this 2 disc comp so far, but the music really is terrific. I usually find foreign language music challenging as my brain struggles to find something to latch on to when i can't sing along with the hooks, but Ningen Isu seem to transcend this problem as their riffs & melodies really stick with me. Maybe some enterprising company will take pity on us and release some of their back catalogue outside of Japan some day. Rise Above Records, are you listening?doomedplanet wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:27 pmtheir early material I have heard really hits the spot, I only have this compilation.bigfootkit wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 12:25 am NINGEN ISU - Utsushiyo Wa Yume - 25th Anniversary Best Album

which contains an assortment from the first few.
and their 1998 album which is also quite good. I would love to hear everything from the beginning up until this 1998 lp but I won't spend the additional $$ for the expensive japanese cds.
