Hunter - Hunter (1985, USA)
Checked it out the first time and oh my... it's listenable compare to killer fox and thrash queen but the crap is there (sloppy guitar solos, off key singing, structure is all over the place, etc) I heard DaN didn't like the Hunter record so I had to check it out lol.
It's Super Bad* but it has it's moments
* - note that the pics on the back of the Hunter LP is used on Metal Enterprises record Super Bad

Need to check this out. I REALLY dug the "1985 Demo" 8-song release on Flynn Rec. The kind of perfect olde NWOAHM-sound that would have most fans & collector wet their panties if it had ever gotten properly released back in the day...

This one's a bit of an odd fish to be honest. 3 studio tracks sandwiched in the middle of five live songs. Of the studio recordings, only one of the 3 songs is genuinely on par with their best material. The versions of The Storm & Eye Of A Madman on the tape were recorded in 1985 according to the J-Card, so may well be the same versions as on the Flynn release.

So I finally caved in and grabbed the reissues of their 2 first from I Hate-Peter @ Abyss. What can I say? There's simply too much yum-yum's & tangents to my general rock music aesthetics to resist
