Didn't know this nifty live album existed until the other week, what a great little time capsule from their 1987 UK tour supporting Motorhead. I saw them play in Glasgow a couple of weeks earlier on this same trek & came away hugely impressed by Sword & this archival release shows me that my 17 year old self knew a good thing when he saw & heard it.
Whatever happened to the new album that the reconvened band were apparently recording a couple of years ago?

I'm slightly disappointed, I was expecting ... more, after so many years. But yeah, perhaps I should expect less, from same reasons. Can tell exactly, but while listening comparatively, Epicurean somehow remains better, and EP, too. Otherwise, doom as we know it. Chances are, while you liked previous releases, you will like the new one, too, however chances are not 100%.

The Bandcramp stream's glitching during the Deathly Ceremonic tracks. Bah! Hope the CD's unfucked.

Their singer sounds so much like Tygers Of Pan Tang's Jon Deverill that i was utterly baffled earlier when i couldn't 'Final Solution' on any Tygers record. And then the fuzzy ole brain remembered it was actually this band.
