I always found SAINT VITUS to have the most sloppy and insane leads ever. Still probably one of the greatest bands to ever exist, though!!!

Haha that's fucking hilarious man! Thanks for sharing. I love how the camera focuses on the two-note totally offkey bass playing.

Bump

The "Hot as Hell" track is unbelievable!!! Hahahaha!

On topic, I think that the Axemaster video clip is a little bit sloppy... I know that Axemaster is a band that perfectly suits the obscurity of the Corroseum forum, nevertheless I cannot stand these poor guitar lines.. Sorry..

I waited so long for those songs to load it wasn't even funny anymore so I turned the stupid myspace off. Anyways, a lot of real grindcore is very sloppy as well.

But I wanted to post something I found recently, Steel Mill, Bruce Springsteen's old band (not to be confused with Steel Mill (UK), who could play tight), gets sort of proto-metal:

How about the first Sepultura album?

And since Voivod was recently mentioned in another thread, they would fit here quite nicely as well I think.

Oops, I just saw this pearl.

Just wanted to remind you, you hater of good metal, that Axemaster are in fact a bottom 20 US band. Maybe even one of the worst ever, worldwide. What the hell are they doing in the same sentence with Apollo Ra and SX???

Yeah, that's what I meant.

I thought that it was implied given that I first mentioned Sepultura's early works as well.
