Hello

Darkness Descends without a doubt. We Have Ariived a close second. First time I heard Dark Angel was when I bough Metal Massacre VI, that and the Possessed track changed my life, I spent years searching for their albums.

Listening to Leave Scars right now. Haven't heard it in years, sounds much greater now. More complex and a bit less brutal than its predecessor, quality songs are still here though. Maybe I should revisit Time Does Not Heal as well because that's the one I couldn't get into at all.

Tried to revisit "time" again and again but I can't stand that piece of shit. It's not D.A. it's just bollocks. "Leave Scars" is still a great album, I like it better than when it was released... it's not Don Doty but it's good...

Pretty much.
Other thing is this release is fairly typical for the 1991 thrash, along with "Horrorscope" and others. This genre was bound to fall back then.

a lil bit of DA gossip. First time we played L.A. with my ex band we spoke to guys that knew Don Doty personally, well the usual thing seemed to happen, he turned christian and he doesnt even want to show his kids what he used to sing, such a shame,he recorded some insane voacls back then...

I won't pick a top album, but I will say this: Back in 92(I think, might have been 91) I saw Dark Angel live in Santa Clara, CA at "One Step Beyond". Only time I ever had a chance to see them, glad I didn't miss them. I can say, without hesitation, to this day, it was the loudest band live that I have ever seen. Motorhead are a lite rock band in comparison. I was wearing earplugs for the entire set and my ears rang and throbbed for 3-4 days before I recovered.
