I never liked WASP,WIKKA reminds not of WASP, simply there aren't any similarities. For me WASP was a typical Glam Heavy Metal Band of L.A quite boring i think.Don't be so silly L.A grew zounds 80's bands the same level of mainstream or obscure ones. For example STRYPER are some 1000 times better than WASP simply only for the music. Now i am hearing SHIRE-Shire LP(another very good band). The Sentinel wrote:It's indeed a ripper. Somehow they remind me to the old WASP. I can upload it for you in the near future.

Well, I'm referring to the debut of WASP, not their later works. The debut is killer HEAVY METAL to my ears. A song like Hellion has nothing to do with Glam desasters. A song like Sinister Minister from Wikka could be on WASP's debut IMO. It's not 100% similiar in style of course, but everytime I hear WIKKA I must think of WASP's debut.

RAY GUNN - S/T (Well played US power, great vocals a la VICIOUS RUMORS)
BEHERIT - DRAWING DOWN THE MOON (Now that's the true meaning of Kvlt! Evil & primitive black metal in the SARCOFAGO, CELTIC FROST & BLASPHEMY vein!)

The avatar of doomedplanet made me rediscover a band i had completely forgotten :BLOODY SKIZZ! Severe heavy metal with an epic touch, "God's breaker" is awesome indeed. Any demo recordings known to man?
