2 old websites that probably went down years ago, but are surely missed:
The Japanese "Kusare Metal" page + the Danish Metal encyclopedia rockdoc.dk - does anyone know what happened to them? Did they just change the name or are they gone forever? Anyone know the guys behind them?

Yeah i noticed that some years ago.I think the guy behind Kusare contributed about a year or more in the Heavy Metal Rarities forum(Strappado) with many uploads in high resolution scans(cover and backcover) from the tons of his reviews which showed before in super low resolution. But were dissapointed also for some reason(about copyrights maybe) and stopped contributing there also.

If you are interested i have saved all the discographies listed there.

About the Rockdoc i think it stopped updating way more months.Maybe it was a similar case like the site hollandheavymetal site some years ago.

Still looking for info on this (...and some other sites - more on that later.)

The name of the guy behind rockdoc.dk is Erling Christensen - anyone been in contact with him? I could use an email address, or if someone could pass on mine.

While the old Dorosle Dzieci-page went down recently (https://web.archive.org/web/20170713125 ... index1.htm)
...rockdoc.dk is back up :)
I'm still looking for an email of webmaster Erling Christensen if anyone has it...?

The Russian site confuses me... Needs more digging.

About the Belgian site, I've tried to convince Eddy to develop it but it doesn't seem like it would happen. There was however some mumblings about a possible book in the future, but I guess that's a big Maybe..
About the dutch site, Toine is still writing live/festival reviews on the main site a few times a year and last I asked him about it he mentioned it would be cool to continue writing on the Guide again, but - again a big Maybe...

Incidently, for olde kült sites like these I always download the complete site to my HD, just in case it will be gone some day. For redundancy it would be cool if more people did the same. For example, it was this habit of mine that saved metalpage.de from extinction..
