Except of 2 trax it's indeed very boring. But such an artwork may pull the buxx out of every collector's pockets automatically.

I was never into the Commander 12" (bored for me)...
It doesn't bores me, but the demo production sounds so dry and really is killing the most of the material. But in a way it is indeed average.

I can understand the possibliity. They basically lead the way to killing Thrash Metal. First they built it and then they tore it down.
Nothing to say against the statement that Metallica killed Thrash. STILL "MOP" is "MOP" and it's one of (if not the) most important Metal album(s) ever. On rank 2 "Stricken by might" naturally without questions ... :!:

Same w/ Crystal Knight really. "War Attack" & "The Desert" are the only remotely interesting tracks on this record. The rest = awkward 70ies kuschel rock.

Well, well, well, the Corroseum is barely back up and running, and already people are lining up to tell other people why they're posers with more money than brains who like shitty records only because they're rare.
It's like the site never went away!

I guess it was too much to hope that some of you (Prowler, Lunaboy, others) used the time during which the Corroseum was down to learn that "good music" is completely subjective.

Y'all never get it- to some people, some of the top rarities ARE "good music" and some of the 'common classics' really suck. They're just opinions about records. Yet some of you seem so threatened that people have opinions which differ from your own that you start trash-talking them, calling their likes and their purchases "shitty" or "stupid" or "garbage". WTF? Get over yourselves.

It always amazes me that some people take it SO personally when someone else pays a lot for a record. If someone wants to spend a small fortune buying records, what's the big deal? Why get so upset about it? If he/she can afford it, where's the harm? Some of you act like the buyers of expensive records are personally kicking you in the nuts. Why berate them and the albums they decide to buy?
Does calling other people names like "stupid" and "poser" make you feel smarter or more dedicated?
Does calling a record that someone else bought "shit" or 'garbage" make your collection better or more valuable?
The only explanations I can think of are that you're either so insecure that you must constantly try to make others think your opinions are Facts, or you're just jealous because you want a copy of the record too but you can't afford it.

While the Corro was offline, I saw messages from many former users wishing that the site would come back online because it was such a great place. Now that the site is back, it seems everyone picked up where they left off- bashing other people and their collections. WTF?

I have no interest in falling back into the same old arguments with the same old trolls who want to spend all their time telling other people why they are stupid for buying "this" album or paying "that" much for it. I am thus staying off this site in the future; I have better things to do than read & reply to posts by bickering children who can't get it through their heads that different people like different music and will spend different amounts to purchase records.

To the 'good guys' out there- you know how to contact me if you want to chat, trade, etc.

To everyone else- have fun arguing about whose collection sucks the least.

So the "good guys" are those who follow the doctrine/gospel of the vinyl mafia? Liking each and every vinyl when it did cost more than 100 $ and all the rest is not worth being bought?

No, 'good guys' don't bash each other for kicks. But hard for many to resist that on a forum I guess....

before i made my post in this thread there was talk about X-Caliber's Warriors of the Night and saying it's most AOR affair, for me i like some AOR/Hard 'n' Heavy here and there, i have it in my compuer, i hope that it does not turn out like the Fortress record that i also downloaded some while back, that was a fucking dissopointment that had two or three worthy songs but not enough to save it, i rather find that lp for about $5, fuck the high price shit, the highest i'll go is no further than $70, if i had to go alittle higher, than $85 - 90, that's it, fuck the rest, but if the Fortress is caught sleeping at over $100 or even $70, fuck that shit, $5, weak-ass generic AOR/Hard Rock with some heavy moments lp, too bad it has a decent cool cover art.

@Priamos: By "harsh but honest..." I wasn't referring to posts that border on sheer idiocy or mere trolling, those are a different thing obviously and most probably can be justified by the cases you mentioned yourself. My point was that some people seem to be able to accept only positive comments/criticism and are offended very easily by anything else.

All off-topic rants and "racist" comments removed. Got nothing against arguments on the forum and Ion is right in his post above, but could you at least - please, prettyplease, with sugar on top - bitch & whine on-topic?
