ATROCITY (USA) .... very violent stuff with hints to Repulsion and Brazilian bands from 80s, very close to death metal edge (but not typical death metal):
Demo 1987
Hatred Birth EP 1989
Infected LP 1990

I was listening to the First Penetration demo by Penetrator from France and it's total savage Thrash, I think it fits exactly what you're looking for. The rips out there sound like shit though, too bad since it's a really nice demo. They seem to have gotten pretty lame later on though.

Cheers for the link! That really surprised me with rabid vocals and raw sound!

Glad you liked it. I was surprised as well, now I hope a better rip surfaces (or why not a remastered demo compilation or something).

Soothsayer from Canada! And of course Sacrifice and Damnation. The reissues on Nuclear War Now! are certainly worth getting, especially when you are into stuff like this.

Soothsayer is more on a crossover side, I am not convinced

Did you even read the thread? None of these are that "brutal" to quality for what he's seeking.

Their demo's a lot less silly.

The demo slays but I wouldn't call it brutal.
