Not a bad song or album by any means but the Metal Church debut pisses all over anything the band ever did afterwards.Marken wrote:I agree.dford wrote:Can't get much better than that!sagrotan wrote:RAZOR - Take this Torch
Unless it's this one:
METAL CHURCH - Fake Healer
The best song ever released.

It's the best MC track IMO. And I'm afraid the debut doesn't hold a candle to Blessing in Disguise, Mike Howe's perfomance leaves miles behind the one of David Wayne, to begin with.Avenger wrote:Not a bad song or album by any means but the Metal Church debut pisses all over anything the band ever did afterwards.Marken wrote:I agree.dford wrote: Can't get much better than that!

Good against Evil, Evil sure to win

The atmosphere and flow of the tracks on the S/T just set too high of a standard for anything else the band ever put together to compete with. Howe may be arguably the better vocalist but this is Metal and we all know it's multidimensional in the sense that a single aspect won't make or break the songs on any given album.
The first three records are all fantastic but the debut is the bands magnum opus.
