omen of hate wrote:Thrashfest next sunday : MORTAL SIN, HEATHEN, DESTRUCTION, EXODUS, SEPULTURA
Been there yesterday (in Leipzig/Germany)
MORTAL SIN were better than expected, although we went too late to the hall and therefor missed my favourite "Woman in leather".
HEATHEN were godlike, perfect pounding metal with great vocals.
Very enjoyable.
Same goes for DESTRUCTION, perfect setlist and sound.
SEPULTURA started off with "Beneath...", which just showed from the very first second that Max C. CAN be replaced. They played some slow songs from "Arise", which got me p*ssed off (no "Schizophrenia" or "Morbid visions" songs????

) but then closed the set with an ultra-hard version of "Arise". Great gig.
EXODUS? Didn't watch them, they just s*ck nowadays.
Great "festival" for only 28€, that I can recommend to everyone into Thrash metal.
