Some of my friends were trying to set-up a show in Belgium for Doom. Hopefully they'll pull it off.

Last show was (John Garcia plays) Kyuss.
Normally I was going to see Proclamation tonight but I think I bruised my sternum last friday. Combined with the cough I've had for two weeks it's just killing me.
So next show will be Metalucifer in Holland in two weeks.

Yeah, let's hope your friends can arrange something!

How was Garcia? He plays at the same time as KISS on Hellfest, so I won't be seeing him either.

General consensus was that it was great.
Kyuss isn't one of my all-time favourite bands but it still was worthwhile. Playing all classics, good sound, good musicianship, Garcia still has the voice he had in the early '90s. He's no natural stage beast though, but he does his best.
Personally I'd take him above Kiss. But I am aware of your taste for the bad and corny

I'll keep you updated about Doom. Talks were about a Charleroi/Luik show but don't quote me on it.

On Friday I leave for the Muskelrock festival (yes, that's "muscle rock" in Swedish), so I'll be looking forward to seeing Pagan Altar for the first time.

My condolences. But hey, Green Day aren't THAT bad. She could have taken you to see Britney Spears.

For me Green Day is just punk posers.
As I am an old fart I was there when Punk really meant anything,
in the old good days I saw bands like Sex Pistols, Clash, Talking Heads,
Ebba Grön. Slobobans Undergång live in my old hometown Göteborg.

Goodbye money and sober days.

altough im not a major fan i would like to see Y & T in Hellfest next week but since they play at same time that Count Raven i prefer CR. Motorhead and Doom at same time its not an issue for me
