Will listen to it more carefully the next days, here's two quick suggestions of mine on "When lighting strikes"

I love these threads It's interesting, and it's nice trying to help people.

Here are my suggestions:

In Lords of the Night:

White robes is still problematic to my ears, but very possible, yes.
Tearing out your heart with soul ditto, as above.

The rest I think is good.

In When Lightning Strikes, I also think you got it. Amazing you may have deciphered the
Magic created from his destiny - Not just to etc.
lines.
I heard them a zillion times and felt like banging my head against the wall.

Yeah those two lines are problems definetely.

It's really hard when it's impossible to understand the story they're trying to tell, some things seem so out of place even though it really sounds like they're saying it.

After listening to a track many times I try to import the audio to Audacity and edit out the parts without vocals, then I slow the audio down and also speed it up, then I keep listening to all three versions in case it makes anything clearer, also mess with the equaliser to eliminate as much of the other instruments. Having a computer is certainly a lot easier than when I used to sit winding back and forth with a tape deck to work out lyrics

And I thought it great that with an mp3 you only had to click the mouse to backtrack a few seconds!

Originally called "Rip it Out" with lyrics by our singer Steve Gelardi. Steve had already parted with us when I re-wrote the lyrics while listening to Jo talk about Cliff, so she could memorialize her bass mentor and friend the day after he passed on. We were all in shock.

I already had the power of "when lightning strikes" as a tattoo on my forearm (that you see on the cover of the ep). We all connected hard on that level.

Great to see you here, Sandy! ...and thanx a lot for finally solving this old mystery. I really liked those lyrics. Nice to read something original and not just your generic Thunder&Lightning&Metal stuff - a great epitaph to the man...

Just for completist sake, any chance you have the lyrics to "Lords Of The Night" as well? Would make a nice little EP insert printout together with this one..
