Armageddon - Raiders Of Steel
What an anthem! Sadly their other songs are quite mediocre...

I don`t know why but to me the whole EP sounds a bit amateurish (doesn`t mean bad)...maybe the production should be a bit more powerful I don`t know. In any case "Raiders Of Steel" could have been on the same level as "Medieval Steel"...

There should probably be more punch in that EP, both in the playing and in the general sound. To me it sounds quite nice, but never close to being a favorite. I'll listen to it later today though, fell inspired to now.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

Hot Rockin' - Judas Priest

I don't know why, but the chorus is totally stuck in my head.

I played this CD to death when it came out. Have to put it on again soon. Sadly their other two works were dissapointing for me.

The Gathering's "Leaves". Kicking myself for ignoring them for so long. Anneke could sing "The Purple People Eater" backed by kazoos & farts, & I'd still be on the verge of tears.

This is the opener of the album "Zapreschennaya Real'nost". Killer track! A bit more modern production, but the same great majestic melodies as many other Sovjet bands in the 80s. Sadly, the rest of the album is disappointing...
