I asked this in another thread, can anyone answer my question?
It seems some KORROZIA METALLA not on vinyl is out now on vinyl:
"Alive In October"
"Computer-Hitler"
"The War Of The Worlds"
has anyone seen or heard these?, i only see them for sale in 2 webshops. "Alive In October" is a must buy, I've never heard the other and have to guess they are not as good?

Is anyone familiar with the band Паутина and know if any of their albums are any good?

I picked up all 3 out of curiosity. "Computer-Hitler" + "The War Of The Worlds" went straight back to the sales crates. Their later nazi-punkmetal stuff really is as bad as everyone says. The live album isn't that great either to be honest. It's a REALLY sloppy performance, but it's an important part of the band's history + as a bonus it has an older live version of the demo song "Власть зла", with the old vocalist.

I listened to the Pautina lps for you, the 3rd album "Zombie" on Cobweb is certainly much better than the 2nd. A cool & weird vibe, if Shrapnel-records-guitar-albums-were-recorded-behind-Iron-Curtain sort of sound. Better yet though the graphic design of the cover and label is just perfect on this. Not the best but certainly not the worst Russian metal records by any stretch.

Same here, unfortunately the first LP that I gave away in disgust I haven't seen then anymore. But basically there's definitely more important UDSSR Metal on vinyl.

Not really sure if it's the right thread to post in but I guess for some fans of Russian/Soviet metal (and especially Front fans) this might be quite interesting... This is E.D.S. (pre-Front) live show dating back to 21.11.1986, probably the earliest Front recordings ever made. Some songs have never appeared on Front's further releases. http://metalrus.ru/groups/946/post-view/27048
Just click "Слушать композицию" - listen to a song or "Скачать" - download.
