Forte - Stranger than Fiction LP

Every time i listen to it i am wondering how would it sound if it didnt have this very modern 90's production. Better or worse?

I love that album and don't think that the production is THAT bad. The drum work is pretty technical, so I think it would sound muddy without a crystal clear production job.

I also LOVE ths LP, the production is not bad, is just TOO modern, this was my point, not that it was bad. The bad thing is that they didn't deliver an album even near this masterpiece
