In case you don't know it, stop whatever you are doing and listen!
Another gem for sure! Unfortunately it shares the same destiny as with Crying Steel: The following mini isn't in the same league at all :(
It's a shame, indeed.

TONY TEARS Master of occult Metal! The project has gained atention after the seminal release of "Demons Crawl at Your Side" this year, but the early stuff is just amazing.

On a similar vein REQUIEM/THE BLACK, countless mines of sonorous gold!!

Does anybody know if this is 100% legit or has there been some fucking around a la Jacula? Some of it sounds a bit too self aware to me.

Same doubts here...the band/project lasted about less than one year and a half between 1987/88,surely they made/recorded some studio session but about the quality of the compositions, recording and production no one can be sure except the musicians (and they never shared, sold or sent original demos/promos around to zines or radio while in the interviews made after the cd release the singer Mercy claimed that labels and promoter did not gave them what they deserved...), probably the original recordings were only the ideas later developed and rerecorded in the official cd...just my two cents...

What sounds kinda off to me is the fact that only 2 years after the release of Land of Mystery there would be a Black Hole worship band. I don't doubt there was a band with that name, and played somewhat similar music back then but the tracks released sound way too on the spot to feel geniuine. As I mentioned, it kinda feels like that supposed old Jacula album that was just a bunch of newly recorded stuff.

the evil zone demo..pure old manowar worship and a voice that rivals early Eric Adams
That's a fucking great demo, but the sound quality is the worst possible, even for demo standards. Makes the audition a torture.
Does anyone have a copy of this that they could upload? It'd be much appreciated - sounds immensely appealing, but I can't find it anywhere online.

Hi Dan. Yes it is. Due to the Covid restrictions and lack of heavy metal socializing I decided to collect some thoughts about my favourite albums on this channel. I generally post a video every Wednesday and Sunday evening.

And cheers for the subscribe. A thread dedicated to these channels would be great I think as I find it difficult to find similar videos speaking and discussing about some of the more obscure sides of Heavy Metal.
