Hey guys, how good were REALLY those CO guys? I've seen some release with their demlos on it labelled as immense Power Metal but I 'd like to know more about it first....

nope, unless you mean Salem Spade from Colorado, who released a best of LP last year. They played some really decent power metal.
Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst

Probably you mean SALEM SPADE. Their demos were released on CD/Lp by Steel Legacy last year. The first demo is a really killer one.

First demo is technical US power metal with traditionally awesome vocals that get quite throaty every once in awhile. Next two demos are even more technical but leaning much more towards thrash.

Technical US Power Metal with a quite capable vocalist.

The last track "Twisted Mind" on their demo compilation "Witch Hunt" CD is pure Thrash Metal though.

I like that demo compilation LP a lot especially the tracks from their first demo. Can't go wrong with it.
