Was going for Heavy, but then I changed my mind and came to this conclusion.
50 % Heavy Metal
10 % Power Metal
10 % Doom Metal
10 % Progressive Metal
7 % Speed Metal
5 % Thrash Metal
5 % Black Metal
3 % Death Metal
Guess that sums it all up for me - a 100 %.

i like everything!...maybe less Death metal than any other sub genre, plus i got into more underound metal through thrash metal when i was younger
but i would say classic traditional metal and speed have been my faves from a long time now

I'm mostly into thrash, but the really dirty kind, black death thrash (southamerican and eastern european filth).
But I like almost every subcategorie in metal.
So I picked mixed genre

I went for mixed genres because although I call all the metal I like Heavy Metal (on the archetypal level!
) I really don't mean that to be 'Saxon, Maiden, Priest'. I actually like quirky and off-beat variations as much, if not more, as the classic staples. For me a great band assumes the label Heavy Metal just by being great, not by sticking close to established 'classic' types of formalism.

Thrash is first. But I also love NWOBHM and straight forward Heavy Metal. With some doom and a touch of oldschool death.
