Some new (old) Swedish finds

Just won some Ebay aucions and found some stuff I'd missed in the books.
Boom Shanker Group - Actually not as bad as someone said. Better than the average Pang bands anyway (the album was released on Büms)
Kalajs - Kom igen/Asocial - In the same vein as Motvid, but heavier.
Fagin - I'd Better Go/Rocksymphony (1978) - Pretty decent late 70s boogie hard rock. They are from Göteborg with a Magnus Rosén and a Peter Jacobsson in the line up. Called Magnus today, but he's in Greece. Will talk to him next week.
Sticky Sweet - Freezin' To My Bones (1989) - Pretty awful sleaze
Umeå Small Band - Bluesy hard rock
Another one that can be written off the list is L.E.G.G. The band was not Swedish, but American - GREAT record though!

Great hauls,Stark!
I also have the Boom Shanker Group,and wondering if they are a Swedish act or not... Do you think they are from Sweden??

Just talked to the singer. The band was from Oskarshamn, definitely Swedish. He said he sent 10 records to a guy... probably the same guy I paid a lot to...

Well, I'd say they touched on it at times, like the song "Fem fina". Generally though, not heavy at all.

Forgot to mention: they also did a 7" under the name SMALL BAND, but it's even less HR than the first one (which is already rather "borderline"). Before the singles they had 2 pretty good songs on the "6x2" comp LP from '81 which were more in the nwobhm-vein. Small band pic
