Metallic party albums

Post by DaN »

What soundtrack do you prefer to the beerdrinking, couchbanging and singalongs before you hit the pub? For me there's always certain recordings that keep reappearing:

CELTIC FROST - morbid tales
METAL CHURCH - s/t
THE HAND OF DOOM - poisonoise
LEGEND - from the fjörds
LEGEND (uk) - s/t
JUDAS PRIEST - any 70's album

The single box usually ends up on the livingroom table, where we then consume classics like:

NIGHTIME FLYER - heavy metal rules
WITCH CROSS - no angel
JAGUAR - axe crazy
BEHEMOTH - deathwings
ARAGORN - black ice
SLEDGEHAMMER - sledgehammer & living in dreams

There's tons more - the playlists tends to be cloudy for some strange reason. Let me know what should be added!

Hmm... lets remember... I usually find the sleeves of Razor, Anvil, St Vitus floating around my apartment the next morning... It sucks to play puzzle in hangover.

Pokolgép debut is a must hear if I drink at home. Otherwise I don't have any special records which I have to play when I'm drunk.
For warm-ups before gigs I usually play the stuff with those bands who'll be on the stage that night or at least something which has same kind of feeling.

NP: Manilla Road "The courts of chaos" (Not drunk but having not that bad hangover.)

Riot-Fire Downunder= Easy listening party metal that gets all types riled up while getting ripped.

Trouble-all= Fun an gloomy drinking tunes, they say he's helpless, I do not care, lets beat up that man in a wheel chair.

Guilty pleasure for rock record is Turbonegro- Apocolypse Dudes, stupid drunk rock.
