This one is only funny in swedish.

Dismember - Dreaming in Red
The original lyrics is "nor can either of these truly guarantee my release" but even when I know the lyrics it really sounds like : "jag kan inte en fis... sluta simma rois!"

Sorry for double posting but I came up with another one.

Mercyful Fate - Com to the sabbath

"Later on the master will join" us but it sounds very much like "later on the master vaginas"

Vag :D , this is thread were you cite the lines of lyrics which sounded to be pronounced differently as they were intended, and whose results can be totally senseless and quite funny.

Unfortunately I cannot remember any example, but back in initial years I totally misunderstood anything that was without lyrics at disposal.

I think those are the actual lyrics.
(For the Swedishly impaired: "reeking hands caress your body")

My Dying Bride
Turn Loose The Swans
1:07

"...theeee ABOLETH!"

Image

Turns out he's singing

"So little of what we observe, is the girl
herself. Elaborate, scented coiffers."

Massive disappointment.

There's a Samael track on "Passage" about chunky peas.

Wow, that's one of the greatest monsters ever, killer name too.
It would also be a great album cover, has any band ever used it?

Looks like I'm not the only one who heard "masturbate, degenerate" in Heartwork. It's been a while since I've listened to that song, but I remember hearing something like "bleeding cock" in the first or second verse.

Aboleths are water creatures that have been rendered in many ways over the years, I'm sure they've popped up in various covers even if the bands didn't know they're named as such. Aboleth is a great name for a band to begin with, I feel! Go go go start a band and named it Aboleth!
