Solitude Aeturnus hands down! The best epic doom metal of all time. Forsaken from Malta are good too. Candlemass? 20 years ago maybe...

ACCEPT
I realize they wrote some classic songs for Breaker and Restless & Wild but overall not my cup of tea (am I alone in this?)

I'm going to ignore that and replace any memory of that quote with "one time when I was really drunk..."

I dislike Megadeth. Is there any other user who has the same opinion with me?

With the exception of very few songs, I don't really like Metallica and Slayer (but don't take it very seriously, I don't like thrash anyway...)

There is, they`ve always sounded boring to me.
And there is one more band from the 80`s most of metalheads appear to adore and I totally detest: Fates Warning.

Old MEGADETH up to Rust In Peace had some tracks that are killer.I understand why people can't stand MEGADETH because Mustaine's vocals but i think MEGADETH was a classic Speed/Thrash band from the best America offered.
I like Mustaine vocals btw.

To me,Megadeth was a killer band with the original line-up with Gar and Chris.
