(Lord Of) Putrefaction's early demo track "Tafophobia" rips off that fast main riff from Slayer's "Jesus Saves."

Don't know if this has been posted, but the middle part of Under the Oak by Candlemass is exactly the same than the first part of Camel's Mystic Queen.

The Beast - Randall Flagg/Megadeth - Hangar 18

And Mustaine for sure has seen this band live when Metallica spent some time in New York, shortly before they kicked him out...

This can't be a coincidence, not just the riff, the whole songs seems a rip-off
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGDoIzKGads 1987 and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIAB1E_VFMU 1984
Also, Manilla Road Dreams Of ESchaton and Angel Witch 's Angel of Death
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPAYS-jMyVc and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm6LSTcVL3c
Deep Purple 's Fireball from 1971 and Warpig - Rock Star from 1970.This also can't be a coincidence, it's a rip off again
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q88koeaqrEg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJVSymN0yqM
Judas Priest - Judas Rising and Omen - Teeth Of The Hydra
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jazmdoxlpY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35iOWuRhPos
Not a riff, but can't help but notice very similar melody in vocals between Lucifer's Heritage - Daed Of Night 1985 and Vixen - Living In Sin 1981-1983 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM4I7oIvkRo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE9ZWlXn98s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6CQTijT6Dg
Never a fan of Papa Roach, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acYf26rq9PY and
Iron Maiden's Prowler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCViwXz7zAM
Gamma Ray - Rebellion and Tokyo Blade - Night Of The Blade
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpOZddKCWag
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bais8zNbfm4
From the same Gamma Ray 's album again,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA_QBcpMvi8 and
Eagles - Hotel California
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKnbty_Kdc0
I remember listening recently a song that borrowed from If Heaven Is Hell from Tokyo Blade, but I don't remember at all neither the band nor the song

Dug dugadug riff in Adramelch's "Dreams of a Jester" = dug dugadug riff in Atheist's "On They Slay".

Just noticed Rude Awakening's 'You Mean So Much' manages to pilfer Iron Maiden's 'Prodigal Son' & weld it onto Ace Frehley's 'Fractured Mirror' yet they still manage to turn gold into excrement with some of the sappiest lyrics you'll ever hear.

Has anyone else noticed one of the riffs in The Deluge by Manilla Road sound very similar to Golden Showers by the Mentors?

No comments necessary, but it is fascinating how some of these bands just shamelessly nicked a Big Classic Metal-Riff and then went their own way with it. There's plenty more examples from this particular scene for sure...

Just realised that Danzig's 'Snakes Of Christ' was (ahem) 'inspired' by The Dictators' 'Minnesota Strip'. Contrast & compare...
