TRESPASS - One of these days / MILLENNIUM - Demons of the light

Although MILLENNIUM's track is one of my favorite ones I must admit they totally lifted the riff from TRESPASS.

Protector "Palpitation" instrumental has a riff/double bass rhythm cloned from Dark Angel song "Time Does not Heal"

This one will maybe please Stormspell ^^ the first riffs of

Prong "Lost and Found" 1990 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoyNHdmuLEk
and
Coroner "Internal Conflicts" 1993 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evOyxBNKrE4

are very similar ... actually, the whole "Grin" album style is very similar to Prong "Beg to Differ".

Saigon - one must die. The second solo starting at about 314 reminds me very much of a hear n aid solo, but not sure exactly whose solo this is in Hearing Aid. Does anyone else hear this or am i way off?

As already pointed out in another thread ...

Opeth "Black Rose Immortal" final section (from 19'15" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnCyXOTfsX4) is almost the same of one of the main Turbo "Annihilate" riffs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXkuXl3kIgI (0'07" - 1'15" - 3'04")

edit: by reading the comments it seems that also the part from 2'17" to 3'10" is very similar to the lead riff of Running Wild "Battle of Waterloo" (from 0'54" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdxLVYhi48o )

Cochino wrote:There's a Megaslaughter song (I think it is Death Remains) that has a riff a little bit to similar to Piranha of Exodus. I mean, if you're gonna steal a riff, try not to do it to such a big band, 'cause it won't pass unnoticed.
A historic argentinean ripoff is Hermeticas guitarrist. For example, a song called Deja De Robar (which can be translated don't steal anymore, or something like that) has a riff that is a total rip off of Anthrax's Howling Furies. A song that sings about stop stealing, haha, the irony. The saddest part is that most "metalheads" here don't know that Anthrax album and treat that song as an absolute classic.
Honestly,I do not see much resemblance between the 2 riffs.
You say that the guitarrist is a known rip off.
Can you give me another more obvious examples?

There is a part on saint vitus' burial at sea that candlemass totally riped off on their first album, not sure if it was on demon's gate or crystal ball, the riff and the drum solo is the same.

I just realised that the melodic guitar part from JAGUAR's 'Master Game' is very reminiscent of the intro to 'Black Diamond' by KISS.
How this had escaped my notice for 25 years i have no idea.

Not exactly a rip-off but openings of these two always reminded me of eachother:
