The Reincarnation album is unique! Is amazing!
My family is Uruguayan (I'm the only one who isn't) and in a vacation I made to that country I tried to contact some of the members. The only guy I found was one that only played live with them for a few months, but he gave me the phone of another guy that knew another guy who might have the email of the drummer of GS (who is the brother of the drummer of another great Uruguayan band, Angkor Vat), who is living in Spain, but that other guy never called me back...

Edit: I got all excited telling you my story, but I forgot to tell the main reason of this post. I was blown away by the strange nature of this band's music, and searching for references on this band was that I found this site. And reading the review of "Reincarnation" I found the perfect adjective for this record. "Lovecraftian". That's the feel that I get while listening to this music. Do you know any other bands you would qualify as "Lovecraftian"?

If we consider the lyrics whose inspiration is The Mythos, then there you have yer Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, Shub Niggurath, etc.

If I'd judge only by music and impression it leaves, without a hint about lyrics then I dare to say Phlegethon and few other mystique oriented bands, most of them Italian, like Black Hole. Not necessary Death Metal or Black Metal. On the other hand Reencarnacion, early Pan.Thy.Monium, ... not many others. Black Crucifiction, too. Music that implies some very precisely designed forms of chaos.

Sunn 0)))) of the modddern ones ...
I am ... the One you warned me of

Yeah, I meant the music, since that Graf Spee album is actually inspired by hindi mythology.

By the way, I read that the LP has a lyric sheet, if someone could post a good pic or scan, or a transcript that would be awesome, since I would love to do a cover tune with my band.

Fucking awesome LP. Ended up winning the auction on eGay recently so looking forward to getting this original in the mail!

From the black ocean of death,
emerge to life...violent, dark and growing
to combat a new war in the waters of
Samsahara,
with an abnormal, devastating and brutal
energy cargo,
discharge it in your head and crack...

Haven't seen it for sale since I bought my own copy ages ago, so I'm curious how much it went for? Me I recently hoarded the "Brigada Metalica" comp from ebay for a reasonable $100-something pricetag. Will rip & upload as soon as it falls down the mailslot 8)

2 copies recently sold, $550 and $620.

I got the reissue, for 18 Euro it's good enough. It is on Baphometal/Chalice of Blood Angel.

Actually it's 200 copies from what I read.

Ah so that was you who bought the comp Dan? I was watching that comp LP for a while.

If anyone wants to buy my reissue let me know as I have the original arriving also.
