Best Metal Bandnames

To paraphrase Aaron from My Dying Bride "...and we also had figured out this awesome name, so we had to make good music to go with it!"

What are the band names you felt instantly attracted to, and which bands play as good music as their name, and which fall short?

I was always strongly attracted to anything-witch, Angelwitch, Stormwitch, Witchfynde, Witchfinder General, so on. There aren't many metal bands with witch in the name that don't absolutely rule!

Candlemass also. Morbid Angel is an awesome name. Strike Master (whom I haven't heard) just HAVE to be awesome with a name like that. Nocturnus! Paradise Lost!

Funny, at the beginning of Metal activities, I searched more for stuff of bands with cool band-names than bands that played cool music. Sometimes the discrepancy between the cool bandname and the music they produce was such I went catatonic.

DARK TYRANT.

Utterly obscure Swedish demo act, but I just love the way it sounds really silly the first few seconds you hear it, and then is slowly sinks into your subconscience and you realize it's probably the darkest, most sinister and METAL bandname you'll ever hear.
