Well, that would be a good reason to start drinking.

Yea, I would have traded those Manowar albums in for some scotch any day.

No need to be derogatory when I was just joining in the banter!

I need a pint.

I'll go against the thread starters wishes and say both. Mainly because whenever i get a new album it's almost certain i'll have some piss nearby to enhance the experience.

BUUUUUTTTTTTTT if i was faced with a "You've only got $20, it's either booze or this record" i'd normally go for the record. Why? You'll have it forever where as the other stuff ends up being pissed on a wall or trickling down your leathers

And most of the time you can scab beer anyway! What are good mates for eh?

further to that, i like to buy my metal albums from alcoholics who are desperate for cash to buy booze (tip: alcoholics and drug addicts are always good for bargain vinyls)
Hey buddy! I thought a 6 pack of beer and a porno mag is all you need in your shopping bag?

I'm glad to see that 90% of the readers voted Metal above alcohol, but I'm not quite sure if most of them are 100 % sincere

Come to think of it I've sold off Metal albums plenty of times to be able to afford the bar tab for the coming weekend. But still, if I had to choose between being born without a mouth or born without ears I'd keep the ears. How bad can a beer-enema be anyway?

What if you had the option of owning every Metal album EVER released OR being given a free bar with all the alcohol you could ever want.

Think about it.

Sometimes chase is better than the catch or at least it adds satisfaction so that's why it could be a bad move to chose all metal albums.

Exactly. I don't know what the hell I would do with my life if I suddenly just owned every Metal vinyl I ever wanted. Probably start collecting weird new wave again. And become an alcoholic.
