Top 3 East-European metal
What's your top 3 East-European metal (80's and begin 90's)?
I still have to discover a large part of it, but for now I choose:
1.Katedra: Mors Ultima ratio LP: I rate this one 100/100. It's pure perfection.
2.Turbo: Kawaleria Szatana: well known piece of TRUE STEEL.
3.Rotor: Tepj Szet Minden Lancot: Great Priest like metal.

Hmm, hard one. There's so many great stuff. But I think the Aria classics (Geroy Asfalta, Krov sa Krov and Play with fire) share the no. 1 position. Second would be, hmmmm, I guess Ossian's "A rock katonai". Excellent. I love Hungarian stuff because of the clear German influences too. The Rotor record named earlier in this topic is indeed excellent. On the back cover of their LP they show their Priest-fetish, hehe. I found a new re-release of "Tepj szet minden lancot" on CD on the metal market on Swordbrothers, as far as I know the first official CD press (there's a rare bootleg though). Too band it didn't come ith bonus tracks.

A few classics from the former Yugoslavia...
Evil Blood 'Midnight in the Sodom'
Heller 'Heller'
Dr Steel 'Cekam na noc'
as well as gems by Pokolgep, Tormentor, Master's Hammer, Torr, Root, Kat, Aria, Ossian, Stos etc.
There were also heaps of killer evil thrash demos from eastern Europe in the late '80s/early '90s, especially from Hungary.
