Jim Breuer is a metalhead, but I'm not sure you can say he's famous anymore. It's been about ten years since he left Saturday Night Live.

Pro wrestler Chris Jericho is also into metal. He took his stage name from Helloween's Walls of Jericho. He even has a semi-jokey metal band called Fozzy, but they're not very good.

Jim Carrey's favorite band is Cannibal Corpse, which is why they are in the first Ace Ventura movie.

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob) are both fans of King Diamond and put the song Welcome Home in the movie Clerks 2.

I know David Beckham was seen wearing an Exodus T-Shirt a while back, but I'm certain that was just a fashion stunt, and had nothing to do with his taste in music.

Former cross-country skiing champion Thomas Alsgaard listens to metal.

I heard that he wore bonded by blood shirt just because at the time it was trendy to put on a "silly 80's metal shirt".

Keanu Reeves is a big metal head. I know he frequents the thrash metal shows in LA, and is apparently a huge Death Angel fan.

Also commedian Brian Posehn is a huge thrash fan. liking stuff like Dark Angel, Testament, Exodus, Anthrax, Vio-Lence ect.
his official T-shirt is modeled to look like a metal shirt too. The logo even looks like Pentagrams.

Cool thread!
This one is for Dutch-speaking people only, but writer Herman Brusselmans was a big fan of Thee plague of gentleman and I once spotted him at a show of the hardcore band Dead stop.

Haha really? Well... he's certainly a crazy motherfucker.

Francky Nipple, who played in some maffia films (even bigger ones) used to be the singer of the Dutch speed metal band "Exploder".
Geen gezeik, ik heb gelijk.

goddamnit i HATE that fucking bullshit! Luckily that retarded fucking fad is over now....I remember when I would see girls wearing like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, (old) Metallica shirts and I would talk to them thinking they were into metal and none of them ever even heard of the band on the shirt they were wearing. The WORST was when I saw a girl wearing a Sodom shirt and I thought "okay its a Sodom shirt, she MUST be an actual metal fan and not a poser" .....well of course I was wrong
