Currently I would BLIND ASSASSIN "Put to the sword" consider as being one of the "Top 5 Most Epic (Metal) Songs" ever, but this may change for sure, when I know some more unknown groups.

LESTER MADDOX "Egypt (the chains are off)" has also got an epic flair.

The obvious answer would be a MANOWAR song,
maybe REVELATION (Death's Angel).

To me one of the best epic songs is ASTRAL RIDER by CLOVEN HOOF.

From U.S. Metal i would say FUROR'S REIGN by SALEMS WYCH.

And from a more classic band one of the best epic songs ever: CONQUISTADOR by SAXON.
