A great idea, I will for sure jump into the unknown and I'm not a wealthy person at all. Never stop the madness!

To me this didn't really remind of Mercyful Fate style at all, it lacks the sinister vibe. More like 80s power/speed metal with some Maiden influence, sometimes reminding me a bit of the 2nd Vectom and first Viper albums, or even Running Wild. The quite generic band name put me off a bit but I'm gla...

A fun trip yes! And definitely one of the best festivals I've been to, good location/venue, nice people and the workers were cool. One security guy apologized me, he was sorry he couldn't let me out of the backstage through the stage because I was too drunk. Of course I completely understand him, an...

When choosing the most favorite band, at least I can't do it purely on musical accomplishments alone, it has to have something more, and connect on a personal level somehow. For me that band is RUNNING WILD . Also these have changed throughout the years, first it was METALLICA, then KREATOR, then I ...

If they do want to get away from the Mercyful Fate-comparisons they didn't do themselves any favours with "Infinite descension" though - the riffing and the vocal melody is extreeemely MF. Of course I cannot speak on behalf for the band, but I got the impression they are not bothered by t...

All I can tell you is that the single costs 7.99 Euros - my brother (a keen vinyl collector) ordered 5 x copies which were P&P charged at 10 Euros all-in to the UK, which works out at 2 Euros P&P per copy. Can I ask you if your brother's name is Richard? Because I bought from him the origin...

Maybe it's only the vinyl version that was released in 2008? The CD version was in 2000, now there's a reissue CD with The Worst and Crust in one.

It is funny because Varg is supposed to never have heard Blood On Ice in 1992. Funny but stuff like this can happen. I remember coming up with some riff many years ago in year 2000 or 2001 (never used it anywhere), and later when I discovered the band MORNINGSTAR in 2002 that same riff was found on...

I would have no problem if there was more info about the process. And when there were, should leave out those "it's next week, 100%!!" claims. Nothing is ever 100%, especially if there are factors that you can't control. So it's not 100% until I have it in my hands, please don't say stuff ...

These are few that spring to mind: BATHORY: Nordland I & II BLIND GUARDIAN: A Night At The Opera (one of my favorites from them, and I like this much better than Imaginations or Nightfall) BROCAS HELM: Defender Of The Crown CELTIC FROST: Monotheist KING DIAMOND: The Puppet Master (his best after...
