Was the other Jacula album really from 1972, or is that a fake also?

I don't think Jacula is metal, but the riffs are a lot more metal than anything I've heard from '70s Sabbath.

The only thing that really bothers me about this is that it's screwing up the release of the original material - you know, the stuff that made people care about the band in the first place. So if we want to hear Hell material, we either have to get these re-recorded versions (without their most impo...

That will be a huge improvement.

Really? I think they're a lot more progressive than bands like, for example, Queensryche. When I think of progressive metal that's actually progressive and actually metal, I think of Phantom of the Opera.

I'm listening to Jacula and it sound pretty interesting, but it's not a kind of music you can actually judge with a couple of spins. But it's creepy and even has some cool riffs here and there. Thanks for the reccomendation. i only have in cauda semper stat venenum and i like it a lot...especially ...

I love Death SS and I think "In Death of Steve Sylvester" is maybe their best full album. :? I love also the late 70s/early 80s versions of the songs. Almost all Italian steel from the 80's I've heard has been good. Berserks, Black Hole, Halloween, Shining Blade, Paul Chain, Steel Crown (...

I, too, wish Brocas Helm would play live in my country... even though I'm from the same country as them.

I downloaded this track a while ago because I thought it was Apocalypse - Stormchild. I recently heard the real song, so now I'm curious as to what band/song this is. Anyone know?

Yeah, I figured most people wouldn't share my opinion on that one. I like From the Fjords, but I don't think it's a mindblowing masterpiece like everyone else does. The other UK Legend doesn't really do anything for me.

Bands that haven't been mentioned yet but deserve to be:

Anvil Chorus
Behemoth (Swe)
Valhalla (the one that did Lightning in the Sky)
