We have a greek prog metal band here who changed their name from Ivory Tower to "The Ivory Tower" cause of the synonymous Germans but I don't think you care 'bout that.

Crown of Thorns is another example of sueing and chaning the name, the Swedish death/thrashers.

By the way the most insane double-name case is the one with Atomic Opera,it seems crazy that 2 bands picked THAT shitty name at the same time in the States!

As long as they don't upload new stuff thus stealing money from the artists I don't see why they contribute to the downfall of underground metal. I don't know if I'm "false" but I'd rather download an 80s private release or demo than pay 1000bucks for it (which is an price I cannot afford)...

Glacier kicked fuckin' ass,I think they got a bit more attention from the fact that the GOD that's named Tim Lachman sang on them after the EP but they deserve every prasing word one can say. Love live US power metal, the best kind'o'metal ever existed, hehe! :)

Land of the Free pt.1 is a masterpiece of the genre,no more to be said about that.

Hehe you're right,I played this game with myself...and I lost, lol! He mainly steals from old Gamma Ray songs, then from Iron Maiden and last but not least from Helloween,I think there's the alarm clock ring from Little Time in the last song of the record! :)

I didn't like it that much,I'm not saying that it's crap, maybe my expectations were too high! Sacred Oath's new CD is certainly better,in my opinion even Septer's CD is better but anyway, get it and judge for yourselves,I don't want to discourage anyone from buying it!

I still wonder how someone can be brutal and prog,I think brutality has to have an "in-your-face" quality and prog with all the time changes and shit isn't quite "in-your-face". Anyway! :)

Who the hell is Ligeti?!?! Anyway,I think this is a pointless search,we could as well be searchings for ultra-fast doom metal or drone/thrash. Just put Energetic Disassembly on your deck or CD-player and turn the volume up!
